Mostar

Mostar is an enthralling and historic city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is set on the banks of the beautiful Neretva River. After suffering considerable damage during the Balkan conflict, the town has gone through an incredible rebirth, with numerous phenomenal heritage sites being restored to their former glory and considerable growth in the tourism industry. Mostar’s most famous attraction is the Ottoman-style 16th-century bridge, Stari Most. This site is UNESCO-listed and highly popular among young adrenaline-seekers who can be seen plunging into the turquoise waters below on a daily basis. Other must-sees include atmospheric Old Town, the exquisite Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, and the photogenic Blagaj Tekija holy site. Nature-lovers should make sure to visit the magnificent Kravica Waterfall, which plunges into a breathtaking emerald pool. Make sure to try the legendary Bosnian coffee.
