Keene is located in the province of Ontario in southeast Canada. A pretty town found within an incredibly scenic region, Keene makes a great getaway destination, offering some interesting cultural sights and unspoilt natural areas. Lang Pioneer Village is a speciality museum on the shores of the Indian River, featuring more than 20 recreated buildings to give visitors a sense of life in the 1800s. Meanwhile, nearby Rice Lake offers great fishing, swimming and boating tours, and Elmhirst’s Resort is a fly-in wilderness camp that will delight nature lovers with its remote setting and its array of outdoor activities (including canoeing and bird watching).
