Tadoussac

A blend of quirky bohemian culture and incredible scenic beauty make Tadoussac one of Canada’s most enchanting destinations. Perched at the neck of the breathtaking Saguenay Fjord, at the merging point of the Saguenay and Saint Lawrence rivers, the town also has a long history as a key trading port, evident in heritage sites such as the restored Chauvin Trading Post and the town’s quaint wooden chapel.

It is also one of the finest places in Quebec from which to spot whales, and offers plenty of background information about these marine giants at the Centre of Marine Mammal Interpretation. Other popular area activities include kayaking or boating through the fjord for breathtaking views, or hiking through the wild forests along its shores.
