Toledo is majestically perched on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha, overlooking the Tagus River. This ancient city in the central Spanish province of the same name. Toledo was once dubbed the ‘City of the Three Cultures’ because of its successive Muslim, Hebrew and Christian occupants. Today it boasts an incredible heritage of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques, synagogues and traditional houses piled into a cobbled spiral.
