Parador de Segovia

This Parador is located about 3 km from the centre of Segovia, in the El Terminillo district. Next door is a modern congress centre. The location was chosen because of the beautiful views over the city where the cathedral, the aqueduct and the Alcazar dominate. The Parador is also ideally located to discover the beauty of the surrounding area. You can take a guided tour of the city, taking in all the interesting buildings, such as the aqueduct, the Roman ramparts, the churches of Vera Cruz, San Martín, San Esteban and San Milán and the many monasteries that the city is rich in.

12 km away is La Granja de San Ildefonso, a former royal palace with beautiful gardens, where fountains spout from June to October; in Riofrío, nearby, is the royal hunting museum. The ravines of the Duratón River, a protected nature reserve with impressive scenery, are 65 km away.
