Parador de Úbeda

Úbeda Parador is located in a 16th century palace, Palacio del Deán, right in the centre of the old town. The palace was intended for the dean of Malaga, Fernando Ortego. Unfortunately Ortego never lived here as he died before the palace was finished.  The parador is located next to the Pantheon, one of Ubeda’s most impressive sights.

Its architectural style is reminiscent of an Italian Renaissance town, but with the folklore, the authentic craftsmanship, gastronomy and joie de vivre of Andalusia. Behind the main façade of the hotel is a beautiful courtyard. Some of the guest rooms overlook the magnificent square.

It is located in the aristocratic and monumental part of the city of Úbeda, in the square where many Renaissance buildings are located and next to one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, the Sacra Capilla de el Salvador. The church of Santa Maria de Reales Alcazares was built on the foundations of an Arab mosque. Baeza, together with Úbeda a World Heritage Site, is approximately 10 km away. Explore the beautiful rural surroundings around Jáen (approx. 60km), characterised by immense olive groves, and the Cazorla National Park (approx. 70km).

In the interior, you will still find many Andalusian relics. There is a reception, bar, lobby and air conditioning. Breakfast is buffet style.
