History of the hotel:
This Parador is located in the former palace Torreoraz, which was built on Arabic foundations, and has a military-looking tower. The palace was built in the 14th century for Diego Garcia de Ulloa, a knight of the Order of Santiago. His family's coat of arms is displayed on the door. Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance features can be found in the building.
