Parador de Cazorla

Because there are so many deciduous trees growing in the park, the whole area turns mostly orange towards the end of October and beginning of November. In this area there is a good chance of seeing wild boar, foxes and many birds of prey. As this area is a famous hunting ground for the locals people, the restaurant offers a variety of game on their menu.

Location:
The Parador is located in the National Park of Cazorla and is surrounded by forest where many deer, bear and ibex live. The surroundings are truly breathtaking with the Canada de las Fuentes and the Linarejos waterfalls. The Parador is situated at the end of an approx. 28 kilometre long road through the mountains in the Sacejo area. In the surrounding area there are possibilities for hiking, cycling, hunting and fishing.

For a visit to museums or monasteries, you can visit the town of Cazorla, which is about 24 km away. Here you will also find the beginning of the Guadalquivir River. Furthermore, you can visit the medieval cities of Baeza and Úbeda (both at ca. 75 km and worth a visit). Of course, you can also visit the world-famous Alhambra in Granada which is about 140 km away.
