Parador de Córdoba

Just outside the city in a hilly area. As a result, it is almost always a few degrees cooler than in the city itself. This is favourable because of the tropical temperatures that are regularly reached. In the caliphate city of Cordoba, you should definitely visit the Mezquita (the big mosque) and the Jewish quarter with an important synagogue; further, of course, the Alcazar de los Reyes, where Columbus revealed his plans to discover the route to India. Éjica, known for its 11 baroque church towers, is about 60 km away.
