EXPERT TIPS FOR LISSABON Take the old tram number 28, (image of route map included) that connects the area Martim Moniz and Campo Orique. This old remodelado tram will pass through the vibrant areas Graca, Alfama, Baixa and Estrela. Driving over steep streets and making sharp curves, no other vehicle can show you the core of Lisbon better. To avoid crowds in high season we recommend to take the ride early in the morning and start either at Martim Moniz (centre) or Campo Orique (suburb), so you still have a window seat.
